This somewhat more demanding round leads us through the high forests of the Vienna Woods to the Ried castle ruins and the former Franciscan monastery “In Paradise”, where there are mysterious stone spheres.

Our goal is an exposed mountain with a wonderful panoramic view of the world cultural heritage Semmering Railway and the "Viennese local mountains" Schneeberg and Rax.

We climb the classic and demanding Fadensteig to the easternmost 2000 meter high mountain of the Alps and the showpiece of the Viennese alpine world, the Schneeberg, where mountain huts between alpine meadows, rock faces and remnants of snow invite you to stop.

Picturesque mountain tour on very steep unmarked hunting trails with easy climbing spots on the quiet Mittagstein. The 1300 meter high mountain is exposed on the edge of the Gahn plateau and allows impressive views down below.

You will hike as part of a group (other participants present) relaxed with my Alpacas and Llamas on a leash to the Eichkogel/Anninger Mödling near Vienna.

In our group, we summarize everything that the calendar mountain has to offer. Ruins, buildings from the Romantic period, caves, rocky crags and a characteristic fauna and flora await us.

A mountain hike in an exceptionally beautiful and quiet part of the Wachau. Here we experience the originality of nature that is rarely found.

We hike on picturesque forest paths and rocky climbs, always with the ruins of Rauheneck and Rauhenstein in mind. From both towers we have a beautiful view over the health resort of Baden and the valley surrounding the Schwechat.

The romantic Weichtal Gorge is the most impressive gorge on the Schneeberg. High imposing rock walls and all sorts of bottlenecks often bathe the gorge in a gloomy light. Insured climbing areas with iron ladders and other safety devices make the tour an exciting experience.

We choose a classic ascent variant and climb the highest point of the change along a torrent. A sweeping view awaits us on the border between Lower Austria and Styria, between Joglland and Bucklige Welt.

Reaching the easternmost mountain in Austria will reward you with a magnificent view of Bratislava and the Pannonian Plain. Forests inhabited by wild boars, vineyards and mountain meadows with typical Pannonian fauna and flora dominate our path and offer details for the eye.

We hike over the highest elevations of the Weinviertel, which offer us a wonderful distant view of the local cultural landscape. The limestone cliffs of the Leiser mountains settled thousands of years ago, form the backbone of the region.

An ascent to the highest mountain in the Gutenstein Alps and one of the best vantage points in all of Lower Austria. A rustic refuge in the summit area also invites you to stop for a break.

This romantic hike through the idyllic deciduous forest and forest meadows is a real insider tip. The Rohrwald is a contrasting, rustic and original landscape with dark forests, forest floodplains and remains from dark times.

The Kierlinger Forst is part of the northern Vienna Woods and lies quietly and hidden behind the ridge of the Hermannskogel. It goes past vineyards, across meadows and above all through the immense deciduous forest, where mighty trees are waiting again and again.

A rock formation rises above the gorges of the Adlitzgraben, which is called Luckerte Wand because of its many caves. It is a gem full of surprises. The rock elevation is crossed by us in an extensive circular hike.

We climb one of the dominant panoramic mountains in the foothills of the Alps. The Obersberg is home to old maple trees, rustic in its nature it clearly towers above the low mountain range.

We explore the 716 meter high Peilstein in the southern Vienna Woods, which is very popular with the Viennese as a climbing garden. We pass various caves, experience the view up to the Schneeberg and visit the ruins of Arnstein.
